Join me for a hands on wax workshop at The Mill Adelaide. This class is suitable for all skill levels - beginners are welcome! Working with wax is great medium for beginner jewellers because the softness of wax is a lot more forgiving than metal. Nibbles and drinks will be provided, making this a good opportunity to learn some new skills in a relaxing environment.

In this workshop participants will learn about the wax carving process and have the option to have their design cast in silver. During a three hour session you should have enough time to create a model masterpiece, ready to be made into a silver ring, but if you need more time you are welcome to have your ring cast at a later date.

All materials and tools will be provided but it would be recommended to have an apron handy to keep your clothes wax-free while working.

The workshop is only $50 with the additional cost of $200 for casting rings in sterling silver. Please note the booking fee below is for the class only, so please bring cash or card on the day if you want your ring cast in silver. Event is held at the Upstairs Studio, entry via 30 Gunson Street.
